What happened to my D: drive??

Thread needs solution

I did a full system restore to a new hard drive the other night and just realized that the old one had a D: drive. like a HP recovery. After the restore on the new hard drive all I have is a C: drive and it shows that I have two dvd drives one labeled D and one E but both are below where the C: drive is.

I have a hp pavillion running vista sp2

Any ideas?

Mike

The Backup you made was most likely only of the C partition of the old drive. Did you make the factory recovery dvds when you had the old drive in the computer? If you did, then you do not need that HP recovery partition.

Ok, Yes I did make the recovery DVD's. That's actually cool cause I don't have to think about it anymore.

Thanks DwnNDrty!
