What happens when I change the folders in my online backup?

After starting my online backup for the first time, I noticed it backing up some folders that I should've excluded. I suspended the backup, changed the online backup settings to exclude those folders, Saved, and restarted the backup.

What happens to the folders that were already backed up, but I have now excluded? Will they be removed from my online backup?

Hi Francois

I see no one has answered your question. I am not an expert but I think the answer depends on the settings you have chosen. If you look at the "Settings" screen for you online backup you will see "Backup options". If you click on that it will take you to a screen where you can set your "Clean up options".

If you don't set the options to "clean up" then I think the files will be kept until you decide to delete them from the online backup.  You can delete them individually by going to your online backup and then selecting the files/folders and use the "delete" option.
