I've been happy using Acronis for the last 8+ years and it has certainly helped my out of disasters.

Today I booted up my laptop for the first time in a few weeks and tried to run a backup (Home Image 2011).

Whoops, dynamic disks aren't supported. Funny, they used to be. I'm, for sure, not paying a premium.

Another good software company being led into failure by ambitious marketing.

After 8 years I'm sorry to discontinue use of Acronis. By the way, I wonder whether they'll give credits on my unused license time ?

Dynacmic disks were never supported in home version out-of-the-box ( http://kb.acronis.com/content/2974 ) though they are supported in business line ( limited in True Image 9.1 and full in Echo and later versions - http://kb.acronis.com/content/1568 )
