What's happened to all my backups?
I've got True Image 9.0 and over the last few weeks I've been very regularly backing my entire C drive with incremental backups to the Acronis Secure Zone following a restoration of my computer from the master boot record. I've also been backing up a file with sub-folders as a differential backup also to the Acronis Secure Zone.
I've just run the Data Restore Wizard and now I discover that all my incremental backups of the C drive are not showing. The only thing the Wizard is showing from the Acronis Secure Zone are a list of differential back-ups of the file with the sub-folders. What the hell's happened to my C drive image backups?
Why am I getting a list of differential back-ups of this file anyway? I thought the whole point of differential backups is that there's only one differential file that supersedes the previous differential backup file. That's why I did the differential backup of the file, because I didn't want an endless list of old backups files to be generated. I wanted just the original full backup of the file and one differential backup file. Conversely, with the C drive image files, I do want a list of previous back up files - that's why I chose to use the incremental backup option!
Anyway, the priority is to get back all my C drive incremental back ups. I've made the Acronis Secure Zone 15GB. 8.43GB have been used, so the C drive incremental files have to still be in the Acronis Secure Zone because the file that I've been backing up incrementally only amounts to 20.8MB.
Please tell me what I should do to get the Wizard to locate the C drive back up files in the Acronis Secure Zone.

Thanks for replying.
I didn't do a restore, I ran the restore wizard and at the point where you're supposed to be able to choose which backups from the SZ you'd like to restore there were no C drive image backups (incremental or the original full backup) showing, only the 20 MB file backups. This has to be a major software malfunction. I think I know what the reason might be, but it'd take too long to go into and anyway I've deleted the SZ, recreated it and stuck a full backup of the C drive image back into it. Now when I run the restore wizard I can see the the backed up C drive image partition as well as the file backups, so things are safely backed up again.
Unfortunately for some reason (possibly because Acronis might not work properly when devices are attached to USB ports?!!) Acronis is now hanging when trying to assign a drive letter for a virtual drive when I try to use the Plug Image facility. Not only does Acronis hang but it takes my whole computer with it, and the only way to escape is to do a hard boot - I can't even use Task Manager to reboot because although I can run Task Manager, the shut down procedure doesn't function. I don't think Acronis True Image 9.0 is a good product at all - I wish I could get hold of the people who gave ATI an award (including QVC for selling me this rubbish) and tell them exactly what I think. It's got more bugs than an ants nest, and not just quirky little bugs either - massive bugs that cause my whole computer to crash. Great for a product that's supposed to give you 'Computing with confidence'!
