Why is Acronis Online Backup region-restricted?

First of all, I live in Japan now.
I created my account and purchased 2011 True Image Home through US website (www.acronis.com) since Japan site (www.acronis.co.jp) shows only Japanese and sells only 2010 version.
Then I tried to buy Online backup, then the webpage showed that this service is not available in my region which must be Japan.

I understand that there must be business reasons for this.
However I am out of ideas.
Could anyone enlighten me?
