Windows 7 Activation

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Thanks in advance for the help.

We are currently rolling out a number of workstations that are running Windows 7 Professional on a Microsoft Volume License.

Every time I install Windows 7 via the Recovery function I need to re-activate Windows 7 on the workstation. We used to have a much older version of Acronis and with Windows XP this never used to happen.

Does anyone know of any way to get around having to do this?

Thanks again,
STG

You say you're installing Windows, but then you say you used the Recovery function. I think perhaps you mean that you did not install Windows, but you restored a True Image disk image to various PCs. If so, Windows requiring a licence key seems normal and expected to me.
