Wireless keyboard & mouse not working anymore

Thread needs solution

Hi,
today I have downloaded the latest build of ATIH 2010 (6053) and tried it. This version is a showstopper for me. My Dell XPS 8000 has a wireless Logitech keyboard & mouse and the rescue CD does not support it at all.

This is really awful, because with build 5055 this did work perfectly !! :-(

Therefore may I ask the Acronis support these two questions:
1. when will this be fixed?

2. which changes have been made since 5055? I like to decide if there are major items which would be important for me.

Thank you in advance
Kind regards

Yesterday I blowed the partition table of my Samsung 1 TB disk with ATIH 2010 (5055) on a Medion 8800 (also wireless keyboard). It was a Windows 7 RC7100 disk. Wanted to make a full disk image before I install a new licensed Windows 7. :-(( very odd. Lost a lot data with this.

Would be really good if Acronis could fix the wireless issue in the latest build !!!

:-(

There are many users who have gone back to build 5055 because of various issues with build 6053. You might want to do the same.

Hello all,

Thank you for posting, I will be happy to help.

If your wireless USB mouse and keyboard, which are parts of a wireless USB kit, do not work in Acronis Bootable Media (the issue described in this article), please log in to your account, go to the Registered products and downloads section -> Bootable media (please note that the license should be registered). We have recently uploaded new files that contain the fix for the issue.

Download the file, create Acronis Bootable Media and check its' functionality..

You can find the information on how to download the appropriate ISOLINUX file in this article

There are two types of Acronis Bootable Media:

- Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product. This type of media is based on Acronis Loader;

- Acronis Bootable Media that you can download from your account on the Acronis website. This type of media is based on ISOLINUX.

ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the web site more frequently than regular product updates are released.

Please see this article on how to burn an ISO file to a CD disk.

Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.
