Full scan very slow

Thread needs solution

I have ACPHO V.27.3.40208 installed on Mac OS Monterey V.12.6.1

When I run a full antivirus scan it seems to stall after scanning approximately 5% of the drive.

Consequently I am unable to complete a full scan?

Dear Robert Marshall,
Thank you for reaching out. Can you please try to make a quick scan according to the documentation and report us about results: Configuring Antivirus Scans – Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office

Well I tried but this time when launching the program I got the request to allow Full Disk Access again. ACPHO launched without requesting this yesterday. I checked and Full Time Disk Access is configured to allow your two files access.

It's almost as though your program does not remember that access has been authorised?

Consequently I cannot run a scan at this time.

I have no problems with the setup on my Windows PC but it seems that the Mac version has several issues?

Hi Daria,

I'm still having problems as above.

I am only able to run ACPHO on my MacBook intermittently, most of the time the program does not complete loading because of the repeated requests to allow Full Disk Access. On the rare occasion that loading completes I cannot run a Quick Scan, after waiting for the scan process to start for about 10 minutes without success a "Scan failed" banner appears at the bottom of the program window.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't help.

I think I'm going to have to look for other options and just use your product on my Windows PC. In that case is a partial refund of the purchase cost applicable?
