No Backups for 12 days
I have been receiving a strange error message from OSX Yosemite notification Center. It says "No backups for 12 days. Check that "Server" is available or select a new disk."
That is what I saw this morning, and I opened up the server share to confirm it was available. But when I went into Acronis, it said "Last backup completed successfully", with the date and time from last night. In Recover Files, all *looks* OK. But I have not tried to recover anything recently.
This has become standard behaviour. Yesterday, when I opened Acronis first thing, it did indeed suggest that the server was unavailable, until I opened the server folder manually, and it sprang into life in Acronis.
Clearly the software is failing on some level because it is contradicting itself. But I am still concerned in case there genuinely is something wrong with the backups.

This morning it just said the backup had failed, and again Acronis indicated that the destination server was not available, but as soon as I opened a finder folder on the server, it became available again, and then commenced backing up a few minutes later.
This could be an inability to perform scheduled backups to a server if the Mac has been asleep. But it's hard to tell because I seem to be talking to myself round here.
