Mounting ".tibx" Files
How does Acronis recommend mounting ".tibx" files to view and selectively restore files (in Windows, or other OS)? I have searched all possible forum topics. If I've missed the answer, my apologies. Thanks!
I'm using Acronis Mobile on my Android. It syncs with True Image 2017, and creates an archive with the tibx extension. In my other versions of TI, there is the ability to browse the files/folders selectively. However, I was forced to uninstall my previous versions of Acronis TI to use 2017, which doesn't appear to let me browse the archive.

I just updated to the latest version of True Image 2017 today. Build 8029. I made a quick mobile backup and went to browse the files from the true image interface on my pc. I hit browse. Get a slight pause then an error pops up. Please take a look at the attached picture and you will see what I am saying.
Thought it might be encrypting my backup. But that wasn't even checked so I don't know what's going on. To encrypt the main thing it needs is a password. Therefore no password means no encryption from what I can tell.

Yeah, if you didn't set a password on the backup, it shouldnt' be encrypted.
Does it continue to error each time, or perhaps needed a reboot after upgrading to kickstart services again? Try rebooting and attempting to access the mobile backup again after that. If the error is repeatable, something is defintiely wrong.
I don't use mobile backup myself, so I'm not much help here. However, if it is crashing with an error, I would submit in app feedback and attach a system report. Then, open a chat support case with Acronis - if it's a bug or a compatiblity issue, it will only get fixed if they're made aware of it.

TY for suggesting the reboot. I cannot confirm that I had not already rebooted but I know for sure I shutdown last night and turned on this morning. After that I was able to go in and browse my phone files backed up on pc now. TY Take care.

After updating acronis today there seems to be a mapped network drive called acronis drive which is my mobile backup data. mounting tibx automatically check but The problem is i cannot unmount this and there is no option to change the drive letter please tell me how to get rid of this i hate it when programs try to be cute and clutter up my system with pointless $%^# Once again acronis drops the ball by trying to overcomplicate it'sself. Honestly it scares the heck out of me that I cant tell how acronis managed to mount this drive as a network location in such a way that I cant figure out how remove it or even change the drive letter.

Mike, as per my comments in post https://forum.acronis.com/forum/128847 where you contributed comments, please open a Support Case for this unwanted behaviour.
This may also be tied in to post 128820: Build 8029 - ti_shell.log is being flooded where the messages flooding this log file are all related to "acronis_drive is not runinng" - be interested to know what your ti_shell.log shows given that the acronis_drive is mounted / running on your system?

Yes I have found it with build 8029.
-it is not entirely hidden, Photoshop when looking for a scratch disk finds the "drive" which is G in my case.
-starting to change drive letter in Disk Management shows G as an available choice; I did not go further in case it led to a nasty mess including what the cellphone expected.
-the disk name and volser are the same as the Boot drive.
-powershell and cmd will change to the G drive.
-so will file explorer when it is typed it, and displays a folder.
-doing properies on the folder that emerges in file explorer displays a much larger space used than the size of the tibx.
This looks like work in progess with tibx mounted in a permanent way so there is less delay from the cellphone point of view. But if it consumes a drive letter it needs to do so more visibly and be able to change, or not use a drive letter at all.
