I created several full backups, each on different external HDs.

What is next the correct procedure to create accessory differential backups on each HD?

Choosing "Add new backup" with option "differential" leads to creation of another full backup when "whole PC" is selected as source.

What is wrong? Is the existing backup to be selecetd as source?

Hallo Christian Heinsohn,

Es ist nicht nötig vorher eine vollständige Backupversion zu erstellen, wenn man differentielle Backups erstellen möchte. Das erste Backup-Archiv wird immer eine vollständige Backupversion sein, danach kommen dann die differentiellen Backupversionen.

Wenn man Backups auf verschiedenen externen Festplatten speichern möchte, ist für jede externe Festplatte ein eigener Backuptask nötig.

There is no need to create a full backup version beforehand if you want to create differential backups. The first backup archive will always be a full backup version, after that come the differential backup versions.

If you want to store backups on different external hard drives, a separate backup task is required for each external hard drive.
