kernel panic - no syncing
Guten Tag.
Entweder ich habe mich verlaufen, oder ich scheine der einzige deutsche Acronis Kunde zu sein. Das gibt mir ja schon zu denken. Ich schreibe trotzdem auf deutsch, denn ich habe die Software auch auf deutsch erworben.
So, nun zu meinem Problem: Sowohl Acronis True Image 2015 als auch Disk Director 12 (von beiden habe ich nur eine Boot CD verwendet) lassen sich nicht starten. Und das, obwohl ich eine Qualitäts Hardware nutze: Ein IBM Thinkpad. Das TP ist zwar etwas älter, konnte aber bisher in jeder Hinsicht anderen, modernen Notebooks den Rang ablaufen. Wie man auch an der verbauten Festplattengröße sehen kann:
IBM Thinkpad T23, 1. HDD 320 GB (IDE), 2. HDD 1500 GB (SATA).
Widows XP SP2
Letztendlich war das Betriebssystem der Grund, dass ich nur die Boot CDs verwenden wollte (bzw. kann): True Image lässt sich auf XP SP2 schlicht und einfach nicht installieren (den Grund wissen vermutlich nur die Götter).
Wie dem auch sei, darf man annehmen, dass bei der Verwendung einer Boot-CD das Problem des vorhandenen XP keine Rolle mehr spielt, weil die CD über ein eigenes Betriebssystem (hier: Linux) bootet.
Acronis wird also nur noch abverlangt, mit eingenen (Linux-)Mitteln auf die Festplatte zuzugreifen, was auch bei meinem alten T23 jedes mir bekannte System kann. Und warum auch nicht: IDE und SATA ist immer noch Standard, und mit dem XP kommt das CD-Linux basierede TrueType nicht in Berührung.
Dennoch geht es nicht, wie dieser (fotografierte) Screenshoot dokumentiert.

Either I've lost my way, or I seem to be the only German Acronis customer. This gives me already think. I still write in German, because I have purchased the software in German.
So, now to my problem: Both Acronis True Image 2015 and Disk Director 12 (of two I have only used a boot CD) can not be started. And, although I use a high quality hardware: An IBM Thinkpad. The TP is a little older, but has been able to outdo the other in all respects, modern notebooks. As can be seen also on the installed hard disk size:

Ultimately, the operating system was the reason that I wanted to use only the boot CDs (or can): True Image can on XP SP2 simply not install (the reason probably know only the gods).

Acronis is therefore only demanded, with your own account (Linux) means to access the hard disk, I know what each system can also with my old T23. And why not: IDE and SATA is still standard, and comes with the XP CD-Linux basierede TrueType not in contact.
