Can't migrate disk partitions manually

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis Migrate Easy 7.0 on Windows XP SP3.
I have one drive (the active one) with the following partitions:

EXT3 Pri .996 GB
NTFS PRI 66 GB
EXT3 Log 20GB
EXT3 Log 46GB
EXT3 Log 10GB
Swap Log 6.006GB

I want to copy these to a new, larger (300GB) disk drive, not proportionally.
When I select Manual, I can copy the first two primary partitions, but I cannot copy and resize the logical partitions.
When I select a logical partition for copying, I can copy that partition, but it claims the maximum size is whatever it was on the original drive!
I need to resize my logical ext3 partitions!

Hello Steve,

No worries, I will help you to resolve the issue.

The situation can be caused by the following:

1. Some of your ext3 partitions have i-node size equal to 256 bytes, this size is not supported by the current version of Acronis Migrate Easy

2. Some of Linux partitions contain errors

To investigate the situation, I would ask you to do the following:

1. In native Linux please issue

# tune2fs /dev/<ext3_partition>

This command will provide us with the detailed information about your partitions.

2. Provide me with the exact text of the error itself (it would be preferable if you make a digital photo of the error or a screenshot)

I'd like to make sure all your queries regarding Acronis products are resolved.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.

Regards,
