Not sure which product(s) to upgrade to
Hello
Long time user of Acronis True Image 2009, and also Disk director. These used to both handle all my tasks but recently I have noticed some shortcomings. Mainly on the True Image side. This worked well for me for a long time, but recently I have noticed some failings of True Image 2009.
I use it for imaging partitions, and cloning disks mainly. It still works in the majority of cases, but some laptops I have noticed appear to clone well, but then have booting issues (some apparently not resolvable by trying to fix the MBR). Seems to be on some laptops with hidden recovery partitions, or other funky stuff the maker may have setup. Anything standard it still work flawlessly.
Someone said for me to try Acronis Migrate Easy. I did and all the failing of ATI 2009 it handled perfectly. So I am confused about this tbh, because I am not sure if ATI 2010 will handle disk cloning as well as Migrate Easy. If so that would be good, because then I can have the two pieces of software working in unison as I am used to. Not quite sure how Migrate Easy fits into the Acronis suite. Seems to duplicate a subset of ATI.
Can anyone offer some advice on this situation for me. Would me much appreciated. Thank you.

Well for Cloning you really should be using Snap Deploy and if Imaging different hardware you can add on Universal deploy to Snal Deploy.
It is a bit buggy at the moment but when you figure out how to get it to work it saves tons of time.
