Snap Deploy deployment question

Ok I deployed my first Operating system on a Dell Optiplex GX270 using Snap Deploy w/ Universal Deploy .
I first took the image from it then swapped out drives and manually deployed it back all went ok except after rebooting I got the Snap Deploy window saying it was configuring the system but nothing happens it just sits there ! It actually sat overnight and never rebooted, is there something I did wrong ?
Any ideas what to try anyone ?
Thanks,
Joe

I am having the exact same issue. It will sit that that screen for hours. If I cancel the screen out, the imaging appears to be complete and the system properties have the correct computer name and it shows as being joined to the domain, however there is no computer account created in Active Directory, so I am unable to log in to the domain. I have to remove it and rejoin it and then all is well. Any ideas?
It most definitely is not a hard drive issue, as I have tried mutiple machines and reached the same results.

I didn't give the PC a name do you have to when setting up the template. I thought it would just take it from the Image ?

Also try putting your server on the same switch as the client you are deploying to, some switches have a setting that block's certain acronis traffic.

This is in a Workgroup enviorment not on a domain ( Test lab at home ) . Last night I formated the drive and reimaged the PC again and I got the Snap Deploy reconfiguring Window but after x-ing out on it a hour or two later ( I was watching TV like 2 hours ) it rebooted and I was able to logon and after a 2nd reboot it looked fine.
( I did change the Template a bit which is gave the PC a name and checked the box for a new SID and the last change was I didn't have it look for drivers since the image was going back on the same pc I figured they were already incorporated in the initial one )

Hello all,
Thank you for using Acronis Snap Deploy,
This situation is related to OS Patcher component (it's responsible for configuring all drivers\system settings on deployed system). And if one of drivers fails to install, program may hang.
Please check this article for detailed information.
If the issue still persists, please collect the following information:
- Please get a copy of %Windows%\Debug\ folder from the restored system (after boot up) and the logs of Snap Deploy "patcher", the names of which look like "os_patcher[dd.mm.yy].log" and are located in %Windows%\System32\ folder.
- If there is a window with message saying that the system is being patched and it prevents you from logging into Windows, then please click on the red "X" to close the window. This should allow you to log into the system.
Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the issue appears and the link to this thread. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.
Thank you.

what acronis realy need to do here is to fix this problem instead of demanding customers who pays money for the product to fix it
them selves. When i deploy 1000+ machines a year - all with different HW and SW im not going to fix each case !
Just fix it so that if a driver fails the application does not hang but skips the attempt. It's not that hard :)

It is a bit much trying to get online support as they keep telling you the same crap over and over!
Its better to call them!
I kept getting the same issue where it says it's loading the OS, what I did was go into MS configure and disable the patcher.exe as I think it was trying to load drivers it couldn't find and I stopped getting the error and was able to login and everything !!
I have to try it at work one day on something but afraid it will destroy the new PC!

Please Help,
I'm deploying an image to 20 systems using Snap Deploy 3.0 but when connected and about to clone, the systems restart leaving only one cloning and gives this error on the deploy server "specified client ID not found" on all the rebooted systems. I'm using multicast to deploy

I'm not sure of the Error message but that sounds exactly what happened to me except I was only trying to deploy to 3 PC's ......
Did you try Unicast I think Alex mentioned to try that but I haven't tried it yet!

Hello all,
Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

It's not so easy as we may think... However, I will report this issue to our Developers, so probably the option to skip failed drivers will be implemented in the future.

Let's determine what happens here. This issue can be caused by lack of licenses in your OS Deploy Server, either by fact that system in Master Image is not detected. Thus, please check the following:
-Make sure that there are free licenses in your License Server (if you're using Upgrade version, make sure that you've added previous licenses)
-If you're deploying Server OS, make sure that your licenses are Server too, Snap Deploy for PC's won't be able to deploy Server OS
If this does not help, please try reinstalling OS Deploy Server and recreate template (for testing, add some two machines to it), also please set up Unicast Mode.
If the issue still persists, please let us investigate the situation and collect Acronis Snap Deploy Agent logs according to this article, and attach log from failed deployment to your answer in this thread.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.
