ATI can't count!
I have set up a brand new scheme some time ago that told ATI to create a full backup after 8 incrementals and not to keep versions older than 21 days.
Why? well I have an SSD and don't use system restore but backup every twice a week therefore must manage backups to save space.
Back to my plight ATI does none of my requested cleanup!
Scheme.jpg and list.jpg show the problem
Acronis, why put in a feature if it doesn't work?

Okay we'll see what happens next backup, where do you select between deletion or consolidation?

If you select 'more that one full' your only option is deletion. If you select the upper radiobutton, 'automatic consolidation settings' will appear in the bottom right corner of the dialog.

David,
From experience of a lot of users, the most reliable cleanup setting is the one that stores "no more than X most recent chains"

I think we are at cross purposes here, I'm looking for the automatic way to manage backups, I think your now talking about manual deletion and consolidation! I don't want to do the barking if I have a dog! :-)

Thanks for that, yes should know with ATI always use the KISS principal to avoid trouble :-)
