Insert 2° vCenter in management

Thread needs solution

We have license for:
- 5 "Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Virtual Edition + Deduplication + Universal Restore"
- 1 "Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Server + Deduplication + Universal Restore"
- 10 "Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Workstation + Deduplication + Universal Restore"
I have configurated by mng console in AMS only one vCenter of my farm that have 3 hosts. I need insert also an other vCenter that manage 2 hosts, but when i try insert it remove the first vCenter. how i can do?
One other problem is recovery on tape. We should have 2 type of backup, one of VM managed by 2 vCenter, saved in a shared folder of a Nas netapp fas2020, (is going whith same error) and another on tape library that take the shared folder with the first backup, one for week.
We are not able to schedule backup on tape. Fails whit error (see attach).

Thank You for using Acronis Software.

As I understand, you have this Problems:

  • You want to manage two vCenter's. While adding the 2nd vCenter, the 1st vCenter will be removed from Acronis Management Console.
  • You want to backup a shared folder as file backup to tape
  • You want to backup your VM's and Machines to a shared folder on your NetApp

I hope, this matches your post.

In this case I suggest to collect Information. The collected information helps our Support Professionals to reduce time in analyzing the data and issue. It speeds up the resolution process because we will have the chance to analyze all the available information.

  • Collect System Report or Acronis Info from the Machine, where the Acronis Management Server is running.
  • Create Screenshots of the used backup plan (edit mode best), vault overview, Tape Management. How to do this, see here.
  • Please define exact, what you are backing up (sources) and where the Backup goes to (centralized, centralized managed, personal vault)
  • The Vendor, Model, Firmware of the used tape drive
  • The exact used tape cassettes
