Dell XPS 8500 no network driver error 0xc0000001 in winpe

Thread needs solution

I am using the trial version of snap deploy 4, I was able to online image 1 of the machines.

Now I cannot get into the PXE deploy image because the NIC is not recognized
I created the WinPe using https://www.sit.auckland.ac.nz/Create_a_custom_boot_image_with_WAIK_for…
and
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd744355%28v=ws.10%29.aspx#A…

I installed the Dell winpe 3.0 drivers from here http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/w/wiki/2069.w…

I cannot boot into the Winpe or snap deploy image environment the Winpe gives me the "your hardware has changed" with a 0xc0000001 error, and snap deploy doesn't recognize the NIC.

Since this seems to be a common occurrence, why do you not give us a tool to load up our own linux drivers into the deployment environment?

I am not sure what the NIC card is other than a "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller"
and uses these drivers http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFo…

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong creating the winpe.wim file, please enlighten me, I have read everything it seems, including renaming it to boot.wim.

Thanks

Only suggestion I have is have you stopped and restarted your PXE service? It seems it may not update properly if you dont do that. Ive run into this error and restarting seemed to fix it for me.

Also have you tried using the Acronis tool to make the image? After installing the AIK to the system where acronis resides, you can have it make the image and include the drivers needed.
