Incrementel/ Differential Backup and deleted files

Thread needs solution

True Image 2011 Home:

The first backup is a full image. This image has a few .tib-files (Name1.tib, Name2.tib etc.)

The next backup I won't to do is a incremental or differential backup.
This one will only save the differences since the full backup.

But, what, If I delete (in the time between) some files on my original harddisk, because I don't need them any more ?

If I only restore the full backup, so the deleted files still will be restored. Is there a mechanic in the incremental/ differential backup, that the deleted files will NOT be restored ?

How can I see, that this is an incremental backup ? Did they have an other ending ?

When you restore, you are putting your system back to the same content it was at time of the backup creation date which you selected to restore.

If you choose to restore the #2, it will be restored to same as when #2 backup was created; or if you restore #3, it will be restored to same as #3. Whether it is inc or diff will make no difference in the final result. The final result will be the content of your computer at time of backup which you choose to restore.

To determine the backup type, RIGHT click on the backup task name and chose the Explore and Recover option. The resulting window will list the all backup files associated with that task and hovering the mouse over each backup slice will identify the type and date of backup.
