Yeah... Support issues with the recent chipsets.
You can try to create a WinPE-based Acronis recovery CD. You need to purchase the Plus Pack, and then follow the help instructions.

With all respect and I appreciate your kindness with trying to help people.... but... I wish you would stop going around saying "try winpe this, that" etc... have you actually tried it? It does not work - the drivers are mismatched to create a WinPe disk that works with x79 in raid mode. It's a long winded process to do so in the first place only in the end to realise the fact that it will not work. There are not the 32 bit drivers available for x79 platform and Acronis does not run from 64bit WinPe.

I've wasted many hours on this and many cd-roms when the bottom line is that Acronis needs to support the x79 platform in raid mode in their bootable linux disk.

I don't wan't to re-image to "dissimilar hardware" or anything like this when it's an image from the exact same system. I want to be able to use the linux bootable disk to restore the image of my system which is the reason I bought TIH in the first place.

You have posted the advice to make WinPe in several places and probably wasted many peoples time. What is the point of trying to help if your advice is unfounded and unproven and only leads to wasted time.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your posts and your help Pat.

The issue has been resolved in the latest beta version of Acronis True Image 2013 Home.

We would appreciate if you could discuss this issue in this thread.

Thank you.
