ATI 2013 on win7 64bit - system restore broken
System restore was working last month. Today i decided to do a system restore and I noticed that it isnt working. The only major change to my system has been the install of TI 2013 so I am assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that it has done something to my restore capability?
See attached images.
I certainly hope this is not a design feature because I really need that functionality.

When I try to create a system restore point I get an unexpected error in the property page: The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect (0X8007007b). Please close the property page and try again.
A reboot didnt fix the problem.

select the drive that says "(Missing)", then click "Configure..." , and then turn the missing drive "Off" and click Ok.
This allowed me to create system restores on my C drive but I still cant configure it and but my D drive is still broken.

I run Windows 64 bit and 2013. I do not have this problem. I will do some testing and let you know of my results and/or a possible solution.
In the meantime, take a look at this http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprogeneral/thread/558…

I think i have fixed it myself: See http://thenubbyadmin.com/2011/01/03/solving-the-issue-the-filename-dire…
I have of course now lost all of my earlier system restore points which I am not happy about but there you go.
To get to the panel quickly type "SystemPropertiesProtection.exe"
