Backing up a large volume
I have a volume of 10TB on my windows home server 2011 and would like to back-up a portion of the files in this volume.
On another controller I have 2 x 3TB disks which I'd like to use for this purpose. Now my quesiton is, how can I let Acronis true image 2013 know that there are 2 destionations without spanning the disks or something like that since the fact that I will regulary exchange the disks to place them in a vault.
I hope this is possible.

But how would I be able to use the 2 disks as destination for 1 back-up?
Since I will always pull-out the two disks and place 2 others.
A good option would be if acronis could just see the two disks as 1, but I can't imagine that any soft or hardware raid would be reliable when the disks are swapped every day/week

You could create a dynamic volume that spans both disks. You would need to have the Plus Pack option to support the dynamic volume though. I agree with Colin, that two tasks or more would need to be created to support the changing of the drives. Also it would be best if the dynamic volume created for each pair of disks had a different drive letter so Acronis would not try to continue the backups on the wrong dynamic volume.
I almost didn't answer here, as I feel "bump" is a rude way to draw attention to a thread.
I read the forums regularly, and having to re-read a thread because someone "bumps" one I have already read is a waste of my time. This thread was already marked as new since I last signed on. I would have read and responded anyway if I thought I could be of help.
