E-mail notification settings disappear - No Sticky!

Thread needs solution

After using the product for months, I have run into a problem that the email notification setup "disappeared" from the settings.

I think the larger problem is the "default settings" in general - the new backups I setup had no "Defaults" so for a new one I said "save as default" to no avail. That was done yesterday and my existing BOOT which had been setup to email me all of a sudden stopped today. I went to check and the email notification was blank.

I found this thread: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/31939 "31939: [RESOLVED] E-mail notification settings disappear" and Anton replied: "Hello Everyone, We have resolved the issue with e-mail notifications. Please check the following sticky thread for additional information. Thank you."

The "sticky" is highlighted to go to "http://forum.acronis.com/forum/33583" but that post is not there. Can someone please advise on what the post is and/or solution?

Thanks jeff

I just came here to ask about the same problem. On all four of my backup operations, I set the SMTP server and credentials information, successfully got test emails to work, and saved the settings in each of the backups.

However, when I look at the notification settings, it's always empty. I'm running True Image Home 2012, build 7119 on both of my PCs. The link to that sticky thread mentioned in other threads about this issue does not work.

I believe the last build (#7133) for the 2012 version contained the fix for this problem.

This update of 7133 should be a free upgrade if you have a license for the 2012 version.

This 7133 is available from your personal download page same as prior updates.

Well that seems to have fixed it, thanks!

I was under the apparently mistaken assumption that updates were automatic. True Image has prompted me to install new versions before, so I thought it just always kept you up-to-date. Anyway, 7113's working now.
