Backup to other PC: How to keep other PC awake?

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image 2012 to backup files to a share folder on another PC in my home network.
Is there some way to prevent the destination PC from going to sleep?
And is there some to prevent the destination PC from being shut down?

True Image 2012 can not control the power settings on a remote system. All power management settings would have to be made on the remote system using the Windows Power Management options.

For help with power management settings for your system, try a seach on your favorite internet search engine for "windows power management settings"

I am surprised by this statement. I have TrueImage installed on both machines (each backs up itself to the other), and I would expect that when PC A is saving a backup to PC B then TrueImage A could easily tell TrueImage B that PC B shall not go to sleep.

That is not possible at this time with the True Image products, but would be a good suggestion for future products.
