Error while opening configuration file

When my new Acronis TIH 2013 is opened and I go to Logs I see always see a new entry:
Every startup: Acronis True Image console (date) -- Error while opening configuration file. (date)
Then, this is the next log entry:
Acronis True Image console (date) – Failed to open item C:\My backups\*.tib. (date)
I have the Backup and recover Tab option turned off: “Search for backups at startup”

The first message: "Error while opening configuration file" can safely be ignored. If you have never signed into your Acronis account from within True Image, you will get this message. It does seem to go away (but not always) after signing in at least once to your Acronis account. You do not have to stay signed in unless you are using Sync or on-line backups.

The second message: "Failed to open item C:\My backups\*.tib" could be related to a task that is in your Backup and Recovery tab list, that no longer can find the files associated with it. This sometimes can be caused by manually deleting the files associated with the task. If you have no tasks in your list, and are seeing this message, it could be that the Acronis database could contain some information that is not correct. This can be fixed by directly editing the database files (they are XML based text files), or deleting the database and having Acronis rebuild it.
