Simple Post-Backup Command/Batch File Help Needed please

Thread needs solution

I want TI12 to automatically COPY TIB files it creates of my primary drive (Drive C:) and store them on an additional external drive. (I don't think this is exactly the same as the seemingly more involved process invoked by TI's "Reserve Copies" option, though if I'm wrong about this, please advise.)

In short, as soon as TI successfully creates and validates a new full or incremental archive of my primary disc (storing it on Drive D:), I want to "COPY [D:\folder\newfile###] to [E:\folder\newfile###]". I don't know the correct syntax for such a COPY command when "###" changes with each nightly backup.

I hope that's clear, that there's an easy solution, and that one of you will be kind enough to help me out here...

Thanks,
Eric

As there would be several files in the main storage folder, you only want the newest addition to be copied after the first full copy.

My suggestion for a method to do this would be to use the free program "Replicator" to achieve that goal.

On the first run of the job, it would copy all the folder and then on next runs only copy whatever is new. This can run manually or scheduled. Or can be run from the TrueImage Pre/Post  Post command.

The internal help command is very good and if you need more help, you can post back after you spend some time working with the program.  The program can copy just the tib files or even copy all files since only tib files would be within the folder.
