Hello Dan,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

I would recommend you recreate Acronis Secure Zone and see if the issue persists. Also please make sure that Acronis Try&Decide Service (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services) Startup type is set to Automatic in Properties.

Hi Dmitry,

I am running Acronis True Image Home Version 11.0 (build 8,101)

Services all appear to be in order:
SERVICE NAME STATUS START UP TYPE
Acronis Scheduler2 Service: Started Automatic
Acronis Try And Decide Service: Started Automatic

When I try to Manage Acronis Secure Zone, I get into the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard,
I select Disk 1 as the hard disk (my boot disk)
I select the free space on the existing Windows Boot partition which happens to be Drive letter I on my system.
(Space available for Acronis Secure Zone: 554.2 GB) No problem there.
It starts "Processing, please wait..."
And fairly quickly I get the following Error Screen titled,

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
Runtime Error!

Program: I:\Program Files
(x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImage.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

That's where I'm stuck. Can you please help?

I just installed TrueImage2010. My os is windows xp. The application hangs due to a conflict with
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime. can you help me???
