Has it ever worked or has it always done this since original installation?

How many copies of True Image are shown as running in windows Task Manager?

It had this problem before and this was the reason I had to remove and reinstall the progrem.
I enclose a copy of the tack manager for applications and processes running as this will be more accirate for you to consider.
Thanks for your kind help.

Krishen,

Do you have any problems with other installed programs?

Checking the amount of RAM used by some of the products against mine show some very large discrepancies.

For example my Rapport Service uses 16K, My True Image 32 uses 61K and True Imge Monitor only 4K. Were you running a task or mounting an image when you took the screenshot?

The first thing I would suggest is to uninstall 2013 again and run the 2013 cleaner, reboot and reinstall 2013. I would also disable Snaggit in Config.sys.

Are you running a Toshiba machine and is the ItSecMng.exe a Toshiba provided file or one that you've installed yourself? I would also temporarily disable that service (so your Bluetooth devices may not work for the moment).

See if you still get the error, if not, enable Snaggit and reboot,if everything is still woking OK enable ItSecMng again and see if True Image still behaves.

It would also be a good idea to check in Windows Event Management and see if there is a True Image entry either as a warning or as an error.

If you are still wihtin your 30 days of purchase it would be a good idea to raise a support ticket if the above doesn't solvethe problem.

Thank Colin for your helpful instructions. It would seem to be working now but is very slow to come up on the screen. My personal view is that 2013 version is not as efficient as the 2010 version I had been using before. I may have to revert to the older version if I continue to face problems.
Yes I do use Toshiba Satellite Pro A300(PSAGDE) laptop using windows 7 professional 64 bit and at the time I sent you the screen captures it is possible that sync operation was in operation but not sure.
Best wishes and regards.
