BootCD doesn't backup to DVD -> says always disk is full, even with new/clean media
Hello,
my BootCD doesn't backup to DVD -> says always disk is full, even with new/clean media. Version 2012 does backup to DVD without problems, as long as 1 DVD was sufficiant, but that's another story.
2013 Home Boot CD
Only 1 HD
Backup of all 4 SSD partitions of this single HD
Options: FULL and compression High
Can anybody help me with this, I have tried several DVD brands, all of them had worked with TrueImage Home 2012?
Thank you
Mario

Hi,
thank you for your comments. We've a Teac DV-W524GSB DVD+RW drive, that doesn't write to -R discs, so +RW is required.
I tried to use CD-RW instead of DVD+RW and that just worked fine. But we don't won't to use CD's - so that's no solution.

Mario,
Does DVD+r work from within Windows? If it does, then this means Linux might be missing something. I suggest raising a support ticket.

I am having the same problem. I am using True Image 2013, build 5551, dated August 27, 2012.
Even though the support system shows my support expiring on January 6th (today), it won't let me submit a support request. I don't know if it's broken or if it is tracking to the hour, and I tried too late on my last day. :-(
I have tried Bluray, DVD-DL and DVD.
I have tried my internal SATA optical drive, external eSATA optical drives, external USB 3.0 optical drives and external USB 2.0 optical drives.
No of the above combination works.
All of the above drives work without any problem when used within Windows 7, Mint Linux or from within openSUSE Linux 12.1. So it isn't a hardware problem or a generic Linux incompatibility problem.
I am able to backup up to external hard drives when I boot from the recovery disk.
I am surprised that this problem hasn't been fixed by an update yet. It's been four months since this was first reported, and there hasn't been an update since August.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thanks!

It seems that the system clock is way off, which explains the failure.
It's 1/6/2013, 11:33 PM. (I have been trying to access support for almost two hours.)
My post just showed up dated 1/7/2013 at 7:31.
Is there any way I can get the last few hours of my support back, since the system is denying me access due to an error in the time zone settings of their server?
Thanks again.
