new update can't turn off sync, notify worse then ever

well, I took the update today, and after trying to get things back as they were, now I cannot turn off the sync that I do not use. The notify is now totally broke as fixing the script file does not work any longer. hopefully thats all thats broke. for now I'm going back and hope I can regain what sort of worked prior.

please, you listed the notify as fixed for this release, and it is not. I spent 2 years from 2011 through 2013 with tech support only to get sloughed off last month, and had the ticket closed without my consent.

Tired of being a beta tester and paying for the privilege.
