error occurred while creating file
I use "Acronis True Image Home 2011" to make a backup from the harddisk and burn it on a CD.
The CD should be bootable.
I use the standard options from Acronis.
When I start the backup, after a short time an error occurred and the CD comes out of the drive.
The message is "error occurred while creating file" .
Does anybody know this problem.

Hello
Sorry that I forgot to say that we have Windows XP as operating system.
1. I tried to do the backup without the "bootable Option" and had the same problem, but is important for me, that I have bootable backup
2. I need everything on one CD/DVD. So that is no option for me.
3. We don't have a third-party burning application on our PC.
4. UAC you have since Vista, but I use XP.
I create a CDRecord log

Andreas,
While you are waiting for a response by support, check at the Teac site and see if they have either a new "firmware " update or a driver update for your DVD device.
Double check your manual as it may give you a specific link to the updated drivers. Doing a search on google is hard to tell the free from the paid.

Upgraded from 11 which worked fine) to ATI 2013. 2013 would launch but then peg CPU usage and eventually go to "Not Respondding" - and then crash.
I watched what was happening using Process Explorer - "cdrecord2.exe" was going crazy using up cpu cyles, terminating, and then restarting.
I located it, renamed it to _cdrecord2.exe and all is well. It isn't even Acronis software - but some freeware they grabbed and integrated. You can STILL write CDs (like the boot media) without it, but it will write to an iso image file instead - then use a program like the free ImageBurn to burn the iso to a CD.
