TRUEIMAGEMONITOR.EXE contacting Internet?

Thread needs solution

I just installed a two-way firewall and am running through the logs to see what to let through. I've noticed the following activity :

TRUEIMAGEMONITOR.EXE OUT TCP 198.144.112.25 80 Block All Activity
TRUEIMAGEMONITOR.EXE OUT TCP 198.144.112.35 80 Block All Activity
TRUEIMAGEMONITOR.EXE OUT TCP 198.144.112.50 80 Block All Activity

RUNDLL32.EXE OUT TCP 198.144.112.18 80 Block All Activity
RUNDLL32.EXE OUT TCP 198.144.112.24 80 Block All Activity

According to another thread ( http://forum.acronis.com/forum/9223 ), the monitor doesn't perform any functions that warrant it contacting the internet as it is only an interface to the user. Could someone explain why it is reaching out? Could someone also verify that it is an Acronis product that is calling RUNDLL32.exe to contact the above addresses?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that at least once a month the activation mechanism 'phones home', this might be via True Image Monitor

I've just run a 'whois' search on those IP addresses and they belong to Akamai Technologies, so it might actually be the customer experience program phoning home, though I thought this was via the AECP utility..
