37687 Build Update: Skip if no Exchange Server 2013?

Thread needs solution

ABR 11.5 build 37687 was released on either 13 June (the Release Notes) or 17 June (the download link) as a slipstream update to "Update 1". The only change discernible from the (revised) Update 1 release notes is the addition of support for Exchange Server 2013.

If the Exchange 2013 support is not needed, is there any reason to install 37687?

While playing loose with the Update 1 build level may suit the marketing department, it is not good patch management.

I ask the question here only because it is difficult to obtain support for other than the most recent release.

For the record, here is the history of "Update 1" to date:

Build 37608, released 09-Apr-2013
Build 37613, released 29-Apr-2013
Build 37687, released 13-Jun-2013

It appears that the release notes for each of these builds is cumulative, such that a problem first reported as "fixed" in 37608 is also reported as "fixed" in 37687. Perhaps there are some problems first reported as "known issues" in 37608 which were then reported as "fixed" in, say, 37687 but there is no way to determine this short of performing a detailed item by item comparison.

Why does this have to be so confusing and disorganized?

There were no other fixes included. Except one - for a failure to backup with single-pass backup option of MS SQL Server 2005 with empty Filestream registry key.
