'Add New Disk' option in Bootable Media disc asks to choose GPT or MBR

Thread needs solution

I have followed the procedure in tih2012-disk-option-restore.pdf using the Bootable Media downloaded online to restore a backup of my C: drive (SSD2)[Vertex 256GB SSD].

When I choose 'Add new disk' in Tools and Utilities, the bootable media asked me to choose either MBR or GUID (for GPT). I choose MBR although it had previously been GPT during a previous RESTORE. (I understand that GPT is capable of formatting to very large disc sizes, which I don't need on my 256GB SSD2, but GPT was chosen during my previous RESTORE without me choosing anything and showed up as GPT in Computer Management. My motherboard supports Dual UEFI).

Which should I have chosen MBR or GPT?

Typically you would choose to restore to the same type of disk layout (MBR or GPT) as the original backup was made from.

If your system was originally set up as GPT using UEFI firmware, switching to MBR may cause boot issues.

Switching between GPT and MBR can be accomplished, but may involve additional steps to fix boot issues, and can complicate OEM and System Recovery (Windows) operations in the future.

Acronis 2012 and 2014
Alienware Aurora 680x 12 core, 18gb, Drive c: 1.5TB to 2.0TB, Drive D: raid 0 4TB, Intel raid controller on MBO.

So.

I have a backup from a raid 0 2x750GB = 1.5 TB with MBR.
I have installed raid 0 2x1TB = 2.0TB
How can I recover the backup to the 2TB Raid? Every time I select location as the 22.0TB raid, it resets and asks for location again.

I create the raid disk in BIOS.
I add new drive in Acronis Boot Disk->Tools & Utilities.
I have tried MBR and GPT
My disk backup is Disk1->
Partition C:
Partition E: (recovery=20GB; probably can do without)
MBR and Track 0

I re-size partition from the default 1.5TB to 2.0TB.

It always asks for the location again. If by chance it does accept it, I get a message that "MBR will be restored on other disk"

What am I missing?
