TI Home 2010 usability

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have made a new installation of TI 2010 and made a backup to clean formatted external disk. TI chooses by itself to make an incremental backup. I wonder how it can make an incremental backup if no full backup exists. Furthermore TI 2010 is much less user friendly in handling than TI 2009. E.G. one has to go carefully thru the steps/options to make a backup. The progress display stays always on initializing and doesn't show how TI work is proceeding and the time it will take to finish. I run TI on Windows 7.

I liked TI 2009 much more. TI 2010 is no improvement at all. Can anyone tell me how to do a fallback to TI 2009. I don't have the installation CD anymore. TI 2009 was an upgrade from a previous version, so I probably cannot just download it.

Regards

Gary

You do not have to accept the default of "Incremental Backup". Although another user said that if there is no Full, the default setting will create a Full backup.
Which build of 2010 do you have? Build 5055 seems to be less problematic compared to later builds.

I deinstalled TI 2010 and am now a happy user of TI 2009 again.
