I'm pretty sure Acronis is preventing me shutting down my PC and i get the message "operations are in progress... waiting until complete and the pc will automatically shutdown" - only problem is, it never does, it just keeps running.

I've been into the applications manager and killed the acronis services and shutdown then works fine. Is there something that can be done to rectify this?

I'm having the exact same problem. If I use remote computer management. it shows Acronis Scheduler service 'stopping', but even after 24 hours it hasn't stopped. Using latest build on W8.1. I have to force power off and then have to contend with W8.1 startup repair every time.
This is not up to Acronis standards in my view.

I'm having the same problem. I have Acronis True Image 2014 Premium Upgrade and I’m getting a message on my taskbar in Windows 7 :
“True Image 0% complete My partition”
I have not requested as far as I know any action regarding any partition function. How so I clear this? What is this?
