TIH 2014 vs TIH 2013
I currently own TIH 2013 with the Plus Pack, running on Win7x64.
I am in the process of backing up a Dell Win8.1 laptop, with the laptop's drive connected to my Win7 PC externally.
I have a few questions:
1) I'm not sure how well TIH 2013 will handle the UEFI BIOS stuff on the Dell drive, let alone the non-NTFS partitions on the drive. Does TIH 2014 handle this stuff better? Or, will I be fine with the TIH 2013 backup (not a sector-by-sector backup).
2) How well does the TIH 2014 Recovery bootable media handle the newer network chipsets, USB 3.0 chipsets, and SATA controller chipsets? The last few versions of TIH have been absolutely terrible about supporting newer hardware. For TIH 2013, I had to build a custom TIH Recovery DVD - a very painful process that took nearly a week of research and debugging to finally get something that worked. Is TIN 2014 better?
Thanks,
AzJazz

This is great! For the first time in years (since at least TIH 2010), I can actually use my Logitech Wireless mouse when using the TIH 2014 bootable media. I can also get to my network backups and my internal SATA drives without creating a custom recovery disk!
I've been waiting years for this ... Thank you, GroverH!
