Unable to download update
Hi.
I have not been successful in updating TIH14. The integral updater in the application fails each time, reporting an error. (Event code: 0x01410002+0x0056697C)
I have also tried navigating to the Acronis site and downloading the updates from the 'Get Updates' link in My Account. The download starts but fails at the same point each time. I have tried both with and without download accelerators and on several PCs at my home. All fail. This is happening with other random large downloads.
I have tried changing my DNS server addresses in my router to both the specific Sky DNS and others like Google.. Still no joy.
Short version, is there an alternate location I can obtain the latest build of TIH14?
Long version, anyone got any ideas why I'm having this trouble? I have Sky (UK) fibre, 80mbit, very stable, runs at full speed and never drops. I have ditched the lame router provided by them and use instead an Asus RT-N66U with the latest Merlin FW to enable me to use it with the unique settings Sky use for xDSL. My home is entirely CAT7 hard wired. I am not a tech-head so if you have any ideas, please don't get too techy!

So, this is not an Acronis problem, as you have failures downloading large files from other sites. That may be why no one answered.
Your router may be the problem. Some types of router get flooded or overloaded by large transfers. I would try downloading the ATI update from some other location, perhaps at your workplace or a friend's home. As you say you aren't comfortable with technical answers, that would seem the simplest workaround.

Thanks for that. It's not something I broadcast but I'm severely disabled and rarely leave the house, so work is here and my friends live in other parts of the country / world. I've looked for alternative DL locations and failed, hence the original message. I also acknowledged that this is not Acronis' fault but it doesn't change the fact that I cannot upgrade their product due to an unknown fault. Oddly two other big-league software publishers did provide alternate methods of DL for me and a third provided a temporary dropbox location when I asked them, so really, is it that hard? Acronis are the only company to whom I asked for help with this and didn't provide it.
As to the router, its an Asus RT-N66U with the latest Merlin. I've also reverted to Asus stock firmware but it made no difference. I've also spent an hour with Sky customer services and they didn't know. This problem suddenly manifested with, to the best of my recollection, no changes made locally.
I asked because I needed help and I know there are technically savvy people here whom might, just might have the answer.

If there's no one who can download for you at another location, then sure you'll want to fix at your own location. I do suspect the router, as flooding/overloading is known with some models. Perhaps freshly reboot the router and the PC, then try downloading the update before using the Internet or network for any other activity. Maybe that might help.

У меня было так на ноутбуке самсунг.пробовал 4 раза,до половины загружается и выдовало такую же ошибку.Я в брэндмауэре разрешил доступ к ATI и выключил антивирус Norton Internet Security,и все сразу загрузилось и установилось.Была сборка 6614,обновился до 6673.
