Recovering Multiple Searched items

Thread needs solution

I wanted to recover all the pictures I had taken with my iPhone camera on a certain day. Upon importing them to my disk, I had renamed them with a Date_IPXXXX file name. I entered the date_IP into the search box and Acronis recovered the desired filenames with check boxes next to them. I assumed that if I ticked all the boxes that I could recover the files. However, each time I tried to check a box the little Windows whirligig started and ATI stopped responding for a while. Due to the number of images (18) the process became impossibly long. This would appear to be a bug in the program which needs to be fixed. ATIH 2014 under Windows 7x64. The system disk is a Solid-State drive and the computer has 16GB of memory.

You say that you imported these pictures to your disk, I take it by that that you copied them from your phone to your PC hard disk presumably to a previously created backup folder which you used True Image to create. If this assumption is correct then your problem is that since you did not use True Image to backup the photos to the backup folder even though the application can see and display the files it can do nothing with them because they are not in the proper format or naming convention backup scheme. Here is a link that discusses True Image backup file naming convention which is determined solely by the True Image app itself and must be strictly adhered to for the app to backup and recover files/folders/disks. In order for True Image to recover these files they first must be backed up by the True Image app as a .tib backup file.
