Try and Decide no longer works

Try and Decide is my favourite feature, yesterday I've upgraded to Acronis Disk Director 12 from prior version 11 after that I needed to use "Try and Decide" feature in Acronis True Image 2014 and it no longer works, instead I get a message "Failed to Start Try & Decide"

I too have had this exact problem.
I've used Acronis products for years and also rely on Try and Decide. I upgraded Disk Director 11 to Disk Director 12 yet when I try to run Try & decide from True Image 14 I get the error message "Failed to start Try&Decide"

I have contacted Acronis Support at [edited] I suggest you also contact them to escalate the problem

Besides, please let us know if Try and Decide was enabled while Acronis Disk Director 12 installation.

Thank you for your reply regarding issues I have with True Image 2014 Try and decide failing to start.

In my case I was not in Try & Decide mode when I upgraded to Disk Director 12.

For your information I am running Windows 7 64bit Ultimate edition. I have a single Basic MBR 465.8GB hard drive in my Samsung S3520 laptop which has 3 partitions as follows:
Partition 1 - SYSTEM 95MB NTFS, Primary
Partition 2 - Local Volume (C:) 442.7GB NTFS, Primary
Partition 3 - SAMSUNG_REC 22.94 GB NTFS, Primary

I have ESEST Smart Security 7 Installed as my antivirus and firewall protection.

I have been running both True Image 2014 and Disk Director 11 and Try & Decide has been working perfectly.

I upgraded DD11 to DD12 and noticed that Try & Decide Failed to start
I uninstalled DD12, turned off my antivirus & firewall then reinstalled DD12 but Try & Decide again failed to start.
I uninstalled DD12 and True Image 14 then reinstalled DD11 and did a fresh install of True Image 2014 however Try & Decide would still not start

I then reverted my machine with a complete Samsung Recovery Solution 5 backup image prior to the DD12 upgrade. This disc image had both DD11 and True Image 2014 installed and Try and Decide worked perfectly again.

Out of curiosity I again tried to upgrade to DD12 with Antivirus & Firewall disabled but again Try & Decide failed to start.

I reverted my machine again with my backup image to DD11 & True Image 2014 and Try & Decide would work again
