Operation failed

Hello,
I have Acronis True Image Home 2009 installed but cannot seem to get past the opening screen without receiving 'operation failed' error messages whenever I try to create a disk image. The build number is 9,809 and I have attached a copy of the log file which you find helpful.

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to give you a clear explanation.

According to the first log file you receive the following error message “User same or password for the remote resources is incorrect”. Can you please clarify the following:

1) The destination place for the backup archive which you choose?

2) Do you perform manual backup or you schedule the task?

Meanwhile I would recommend you to do the following. First of all if you create the task please make sure that you enter right credentials which should be just like your Windows account login and password.

If it’s not the case then please update Acronis scheduler using the following KB article.

Firstly many thanks for replying to my post. It seems that it was a corrupted scheduler causing the problem. I have updated the scheduler as per the the KB article and have now completed a full backup without receiving any 'operation failed' messages.
However this has now highlighted a further issue that you may be able to help me with - when I try to activate the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager I receive a message saying "the files required for activating the Acronis Secure Zone are not available. Please reinstall Acronis True Image Home". I am afraid to do this because the last time I tried to uninstall the software the operation appeared to corrupt my MBR and was forced to carry out a system restore operation using my OS DVD at bootup.
n.b. I have created an Acronis Secure Zone on my secondary hard disk with no problems.
Please advise as soon as possible.
