Unable to remove ATI 10 from Add/Remove Program List
Used the Acronis Cleaner to remove before installing new version. Cleaner seemed to work but in Add/Remove Program list, ATI is still listed and there is no REMOVE button to remove from the list. Do I need to use Regedit and manually remove ATI components or is there an easier method? Bailey

Thanks WildOne for the suggestion of using CCleaner in the Tools section. I use CCleaner daily for ccleanup and registry orphans, but had not thought of using the Tools and Uninstall. Ran Uninstall 2x with ATI name highlighted in the program list and still unable to delete. There is a method of using Regedit and one can save a valid copy of the Registry that can be reinstalled if the edit fails...sounds kind of tricky.

Mark,
Did you try "delete entry" in the tool section not uninstall.....if that does not work then the only suggestion I would have is to use regedit if you feel comfortable with it....

See if the free Revo Uninstaller would let you remove that entry.

Thanks for the tip on Revo Pro. I downloaded the 30-day trial of Pro, figuring it had more functionality than the freeware version and managed to very easily remove all of those registry keys. This Revo is one powerful tool. CCleaner now says the Acronis trace parts are gone and I can reinstall.

Thanks for the good tip, WildOne. I downloaded Revo Uninstall Pro and was able to remove all the remaining registry keys. Now will reinstall Acronis.

OK. Reinstalled ATI and when I try to backup C: the message says drive is busy. I have an IDE data disk on drive 0, and C: is on drive 1, where I have setup the Acronis Safe Zone. Is this the problem, that C: and ATI are on Drive 1? Mark

Booted from the F11 key, ran ATI to store the image and now everything works properly. Can boot from C: which is Drive 0 and run the ATI backup on both the C: and data drives. Thanks everyone for the help.
