Hidden Files in a not so Hidden Folder.

I have a file hidden on my hard drive in the windows\system32 folder. It is a text with my passwords and what not. I added a folder to the system32 folder and inside that I put 2 files. One is hidden and the other is not. The hidden file has my text document. I have tried to setup a scheduled backup of certain files and folders. I can see the folder in question in windows explorer because it isn't hidden. However, when I navigate to select that folder within Acronis, the folder isn't showing up in the system32 folder to select for backup. What am I missing?
