Launching ATIH 2014 From CMD

Thread needs solution

I have a lot of customers and users who wouldn't know what to do if they were faced with the ATIH user interface, so I've written Pre- and Post-scripts to do all the work. The ATIH script is at
C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts\6FAB5B55-xxxx-yyyy-zzzz-8FB1C100EEBD.tib.tis

What I can't figure out is how to launch it from within a "Make Backup & Shutdown Now.cmd" to which I can create a shortcut. I've looked in the (250 page!) manual, I've searched these fora, and I can't figure out which *.exe in the ATIH program install folder can be used to launch a script. Worse, attempting to type any *.exe for help (e.g., TrueImageLauncher.exe /?), all but "spawn" show nothing, and what "spawn.exe" shows is not clear.

All I want is a short command like "TrueImage /run "ATIH script" (like the reference to *.tib.tis in the first paragraph).

I suspect it's something line the executable "TrueImageLauncher.exe" (in the install program files), but search the PDF manual shows no instance of the word "launcher", much less "TrueImageLauncher.exe".

Can anyone enlighten me?

Yes, there is a definite learning curve using TI and this cannot be avoided--even for the very skilled user.
But even the not so skilled user can become skilled given a little effort and some time. More and more videos and my user guides are available to help make this happen.

These can help you with your file creation.

My experience with this type commands is to use the Acronis pre/post only to execute other bat or cmd files and not use Acronis to execute a specific command.

Since version 2012, TI is using database tracking so any deletions not done by the program causes issues or backup failure. I would encourage use to use a backup scheme which involves automatic cleanup so the program does the deletion and tracking. These next 3 links are examples which will work.
