Memory leak in Acronis Online Backup process?
It's been running for two days straight now. Very impressive!! However, the Task Scheduler is showing 642 MB Working Set Memory, 1.245 GB Commit Size, and 1.2 million handles for TrueImageHomeNotify.exe. My system is running out of memory. Waiting on the last file to upload before rebooting. Just a fyi to Acronis Q&A -- does not appear that the process is freeing memory correctly.
Yes, it is with the latest installer. On a good day, I am able to get upwards of 10 GB of data. As for types of data, everything. It's all 0s and 1s, right?
I realize this is a four year old thread - but it is one of the top google searches and the only thread on the support forum that I can find related to this topic. I have the same problem - trueimagehomenotify.exe is using excessive memory and just today I had to kill it via the task manager on a customer's machine. I am going to try reinstalling the software and resetting the email notify settings.
Of course, it would be nice if Acronis bug fixed and updated the stand alone online backup client!
