Disable Tasks on True Image clients

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I'm running True Image Enterprise with around 30 clients and was wondering, is there any easy way to disable all client tasks from executing temporarily? As the client tasks execute pretty much around the clock it can make network troubleshooting a mess at times.

As most tasks are executed on the clients there doesn't seem to be a painless way to do this. So far the best option seems to be scripting the stopping/disabling of the client scheduler service.

Is there a way to accomplish this within Acronis True Image? Any other suggestions?

For anyone interested I was thinking:

Stopping:
sc \\ip stop AcrSch2Svc
sc \\ip config AcrSch2Svc start= disabled

Starting:
sc \\ip config AcrSch2Svc start= auto
sc \\ip start AcrSch2Svc

Hello Bob,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Let me help you with.

The only way to disable/enable tasks on several clients (assuming you're using Acronis True Image Echo) is to create and manage tasks with Acronis Group Server. The detailed information on how to manage group of computers and about Group Server itself is available at the Chapter 4.4 of the User's Guide.

Please reply to this thread if you have any further questions.

Thank you.
