The UI appears to support .tib files but I get an error trying to mount it in ABR. I can double click and "explore" it, but that's terribly slow.

True Image Home backups are not supported by Acronis Backup. Additionally, mounting will fail if the backup lacks meta (archiveName.xml) file, which can be recreated e.g. by creating personal vault where the archive is located and refreshing the vault view several times.

So why does ABR allow selection of .tib files?

Nevermind - for some reason I thought ABR created something other than a TIB file.
