Universal Restore- Asking for File PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4380&SUBSYS_01FD1028&REV_00
I tried direct "Support" -- but because I did not have an "Error Code" to fill-in on the "Error Box", I could not send the direct e-mail to "Support"-- So I sent a "Feedback" in hope to get some responses; and I am also trying this "Forum" for help.-- Used Acronis Backup using Western Digital version on a Dell Latitude E6430 running Win 7 Enterprise; backed-up to Western Digital 4 TB Elements Hard Drive; Using newest Acronis 2015 ( Build 6525) installed 12/10/15 on my Dell Inspiron 1721 laptop that has 2 hard drives (C & F)-- The Inspiron 1721 (drive F) with the recovered backup from the Latitude from the WD hard drive will not boot the Inspiron-- get driver errors; Used "Universal Restore" created disk from the Inspiron to fix the boot/ re-create the correct drivers but continue to get stopped at the 35% mark when the Universal Restore Program asks for what I think is the location of the video driver for the Inspiron 1721-- it needs "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4380&subSYS_01FD1028&REV_00" files-- I do not know where to get this file. If it is the video driver for the Inspiron 1721, should I be able to get it from the "C" Drive which does boot correctly and just "copy & paste" the video drivers from the "C" drive to the "F" drive?? But which folders/ files?? I have gone to the AMD website to try and get the latest video driver using the ATI Catalyst Control Center, but cannot make it go and correct the startup on drive "F"-- only goes to the "C" drive. Any ideas here??- Regards,
