Backup .tib files keep disappearing, as well as sections of the User Interface.
Has anybody else been experiencing this???
Two parts to this.
1.) Inevitably, in TI 2015 parts of the UI, up at the top where it shows "LAST BACKUP," "NEXT BACKUP," and "TOTAL SIZE," along with a number of Operations in the "OPERATIONS" drop down menu, and the "RECOVER DISK" and RECOVER FILES" functions at the bottom, will all disappear. This will happen for curtain Tasks, and I will have to recreate them, - but not to other Tasks. But then... it eventually happens to other Tasks as well and I have to recreate them. This happens a lot!!
2.) More importantly, ever so often I get a failed backup because TI 2015 cannot find the .tib backup files. When I navigate in Windows Explorer to the backup location where those .tib files are suppose to be I find that they are missing, which would of course explain why TI cannot find them when it goes to do the backup. However, I do not understand why the keep getting deleted. I am not deleting them. Even when Automatic Cleanup is NOT enabled this has happened. Tonight I came home to find that not just one task, but two of my backup task are missing all their .tib backup files. Now I have to recreate all of them, Again, and hope that some how, maybe, it will be the last time it happens.... I doubt it.
I have screenshots outlined in the attached PDF file. Any help on this would be much appreciated

This sounds eerily similar to what I've experienced lately.
Since I've been a loyal Acronis TI upgrade custoemr for nearly 10 yrs, I upgraded to TI-Home 2015 b6525 in early Dec 2014, and it appeared to be working fine until just abt 40 days later when I noticed a "file missing" TI error balloon. Upon looking at that I noticed there were serveral TI GUI elements missing, including any means to view or edit the backup task(s) (I only have 1 configured), the "Generate System Report" selection missing from Help (a couple others still there, tho), and a couple others I don't recall now. In addition, TI was still in the middle of trying to run the backup task but was stalled & reporting "0%" progress.
I checked my hard-wired (ethernet) NAS RAID storage device and found that there was 1 full backup file plus 5 incremental backup files in the designated folder. Since I believe I recall setting the task config to do another full backup after 5 incrementals, my SPECULATION is that it was looking to do another full backup (not certain as I am not getting a report from TI as to what "missing file" name is involved in this problem).
I ran the original (downloaded when purchased) TI-Home b6525 install package and selected "Repair", which restored the missing GUI elements, thus was able to Generate a System Report finally and submitted that online to Acronis (no word back after several days).
Here's what REALLY chapped my ass, tho: I started an online chat support session with Acronis, about what is clearly a product bug situation here, and the tech refused to provide any support time with me as the 30 day free support period had just ended! Yeah, pay Acronis to help them fix their bugs, eh? Meanwhile, after reading several forum postings I'm now aware that 2015 seems to be major re-write with not only a couple others reporting the problem I experienced but also some very scary Restore corruption problems. Something bad is going on here with: what used to be Acronis tech support being at least as good as that I have gotten from other software companies now going south, as well as releasing a product to a rather large installed base now of consumer users with inadequate QA. Sad.
Anyway, I'm running Win7 Ultimate 32b with all latest updates, Sony dual Pentium desktop PC with RAID 10 local (C:) OS drive (4 Seagate SATA drives all same model; Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver), backup to a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo (RAID mirror config) via 1Gbs ethernet LAN (no credentials required), all are on UPS including router, logs showing no interruptions in NAS availability.
As I typed this, another "backup failed" error balloon appeared. TI is continuing to rerun the task. Wish I had more clues re root cause, as without TI tech support help I'm for the first time in years having to think about a new backup solution and not looking fwd to that.
