Question about differential / continuous backup
If I perform a differential and/or continuous backup of a drive...
and I move a file from FolderA to FolderB...
will the differential backup be smart enough to know that the file was moved, and adjusted accordingly?
To put it another way... if the file was 10MB, and I move it (not copy it) to another folder, will the backup size remain the same, or increase by 10MB?
Thanks,
John

If I understand you correctly - the file in folder A would be contained in either a full or differential image.
At some point you move the file in folder A to folder B, and at some point in time another differential image is made.
The differential image will just reflect the change of folders, no image size change will occur, unless you've copied the file rather than copy and delete original (a move file).
The only time the full or differential file will change in size is by adding, deleting, or when sectors are altered such as by defragging.
You might find your diff files altering slightly in size due to Windows writing temporary files which might not be in subsequent images, but the change would be in MB's not GB's - unless you do something like switch off the recycle bin and then re-instate it or change it's size drastically as that would involve the disk layout changing dramatically.
